The development of Organic Tea

The production of organic tea starts as early as 1983 in Sri Lanka. In the late 80s, it appeared organic tea and production of organic tea in succession in India, Tanzania, Japan, Kenya and China. In 1989, organic tea listed for sale on the market of UK,and Indian country has dozens of tons of organic tea garden ,meanwhile the cultivation of organic tea in Sri Lanka can reach more than 200 tons. At present, the sales of organic tea in the world can reach 8000 tons.

Especially the Ceylon tea in Sri lanka, Sri Lanka producers has long been committed to promote ceylon tea through a large number of the relevant exhibitions in China so that let more Chinese people know Ceylon tea as the world's third largest producer of tea and the annual output of the tea can reach 320000 tons , accounting for 11% of the world's tea production. Sri Lanka tea is mainly used for exports which make it become the world's largest exporter of tea.
